英語(yǔ)書(shū)信格式
英文書(shū)信一般可由信頭、信內(nèi)地址、稱呼、信的正文、結(jié)束語(yǔ)、簽名、信封幾個(gè)基本要素組成。根據(jù)實(shí)際需要,還可以加上附件等要素。
、 信頭 ( Heading )
信頭又稱信端,一般寫(xiě)在信紙的右上角,包括寄信人通信地址和寫(xiě)信日期。第一行先寫(xiě)寄信人的門(mén)牌號(hào)碼,再寫(xiě)街道名稱;第二行先寫(xiě)縣市名稱,再寫(xiě)省份名稱,往右空兩個(gè)字母寬的位置,再寫(xiě)上郵政編碼。如果信是寄給國(guó)外的,寄信人還應(yīng)該寫(xiě)第三行,這行寫(xiě)自己國(guó)家的名稱,最后一行寫(xiě)寫(xiě)信的日期。每行的后面可用標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào),也可以不用。如用,前面幾行的末尾都用逗號(hào),寫(xiě)信日期的后面則用句號(hào),如:

、 信內(nèi)地址 ( Inside Address )
信內(nèi)地址位于左上角。在信頭之后,下空兩三行,從左邊頂格處寫(xiě)起。第一行寫(xiě)稱呼和姓名,第二行寫(xiě)收信人的單位名稱,第三行寫(xiě)地址,地址中每個(gè)詞的首字母要大寫(xiě),如:

Northern State University
1200 South Jay Street
Aberdeen, SD57401-7198

、 稱呼 ( Salutation )
在正式公文中,一般用Formal (正式)的稱呼;在半公半私的信件中,可用Less formal(次正式)的稱呼;在社交信件中,尤其是親屬與好友之間的通信,可用Informal(非正式)的稱呼。
、 信的正文 ( The Body of the Letter )
一般來(lái)說(shuō),一封好的英文書(shū)信應(yīng)符合正確、簡(jiǎn)潔、明了、禮貌這幾個(gè)基本要求。
書(shū)信的格式也有平頭和縮頭之分,在平頭里,每段每行的首字母與稱呼及信內(nèi)地址的首字母垂直排齊,每段之間的段距比行距要大一些,一般為兩行;在縮行式里,每段第一行首字母應(yīng)往右縮進(jìn)兩三個(gè)字母,每段之間的段距與行距相等。不論是平頭式還是縮行式,書(shū)信正文應(yīng)從稱呼之下兩三行處開(kāi)始。
、 結(jié)束語(yǔ) ( Complimentary Close )
事務(wù)信件中常用的結(jié)束語(yǔ)有:
Truly yours,
Yours truly,
Respectfully yours,
Yours respectfully,
社交信件中常用的結(jié)束語(yǔ)有:
Sincerely yours,
Yours sincerely,
Affectionately yours,
Yours affectionately,
Obediently yours,
Yours obediently,
、 簽名 ( Signature )
寫(xiě)信人要在結(jié)束語(yǔ)下面簽名,以表示對(duì)信件中的全部?jī)?nèi)容負(fù)責(zé)。簽名和結(jié)束語(yǔ)應(yīng)寫(xiě)在正文之下兩三行中間偏右位置,但現(xiàn)在為了打字方便,很多人將這兩個(gè)部分分別打和簽在信紙左端、正文之下兩三行處,與信內(nèi)地址、稱呼以及正文各段的左端垂直排齊,如:

、 附言(Postscript)
可以用P.S. 補(bǔ)上遺漏的話。通常在信末簽名下面幾行的左方,應(yīng)與正文齊頭。在正式的信函中,應(yīng)避免使用附言。
、 附件(Enclosure)
信件如果有附件,可在信紙的左下角,注上Encl: 或Enc:。如果附件不止一項(xiàng),應(yīng)寫(xiě)成Encls: 或Encs:

英語(yǔ)書(shū)信(二)
