河西地區(qū)是唐王朝十分重要的邊防要地,故唐代在河西地區(qū)設(shè)置了大量的軍事防御機構(gòu),但歷代傳世文獻(xiàn)對一些基層的機構(gòu)多有缺失.通過敦煌吐魯番出土文獻(xiàn)對唐代在河西設(shè)置的鎮(zhèn)、守捉、戍、烽作一鉤沉補闕,以期能夠管窺更或是重新構(gòu)建唐代河西邊防體系.
