中國(guó)游客形象的緣由 The origin of Chinese Tourists Image

Chinese economy develops very fast in the last few decades. When people have enough money at hand, they want to see more about the world, so traveling broad is favored by a lot of people. But the western media always report the negative image of Chinese tourists, such as speaking very loudly in the public places, or throwing rubbish away. This image is very classic and many foreigners believe that Chinese tourists are rude. In fact, the cultural difference makes this happen. For instance, in the west, people will put the dishes to the right place before they leave, while Chinese people will just walk away. But in China, it is the waiters’ job to do it. What's more, the news that is reported by the media tend to be bad, so as to catch more attention. In fact, the Chinese young generation behave themselves well in the public place.
中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)在過(guò)去的幾十年里得到快速發(fā)展。當(dāng)人們有足夠的錢(qián)時(shí)，他們就希望多看看這個(gè)世界，所以旅行受到了很多人的喜歡。但西方媒體總是報(bào)道中國(guó)游客的負(fù)面形象，比如在公共場(chǎng)所大聲說(shuō)話(huà)，或者亂扔垃圾。這樣的形象是非常經(jīng)典的，所以很多外國(guó)人認(rèn)為中國(guó)游客是不禮貌的。事實(shí)上，是文化差異促使了這樣的事情發(fā)生。例如，在西方，人們?cè)陔x開(kāi)之前會(huì)把餐具放到該放的位置上，而中國(guó)人則直接走了。但在中國(guó)，這服務(wù)員的工作。而且，媒體報(bào)道的往往是負(fù)面的，以便吸引更多的關(guān)注。事實(shí)上中國(guó)年輕一代在公共場(chǎng)所都能自我管束好。
