　　街上的人行色匆匆，大包小包地往家里提，小販們也掛出了紅紅的春聯(lián)和福字。過年前夕，許多人都十分忙。許多去外地打工的人都帶著大包小包的年貨回老家去。

　　People on the street are in a hurry. They go home in packages and small parcels. The vendors also hang red couplets and lucky characters. On New Year's Eve, many people are very busy. Many people who go to work in other places return home with large packages of new year's goods.

　　大年三十的晚上，媽媽就在廚房做著香噴噴的年夜飯。而我卻守候著電視機前，等待著春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會的開始。

　　On the evening of new year's Eve, my mother is making delicious new year's Eve dinner in the kitchen. But I was waiting for the TV, waiting for the start of the Spring Festival party.

　　我喜愛的春晚終于開始了，媽媽的`飯菜也準備的差不多了。哇!這一天終于來了!我們立刻開始吃飯了。我先夾了一個白菜餡的餃子，特別好吃，接著媽媽給我夾了一個海鮮味的，我搖搖頭：“媽媽，我不喜歡這個味道!”媽媽非讓我吃，還笑著說：“這個餃子最甜!”我咬了一口，見一塊水果糖在口中，酸甜可口，好吃極了!原來如果吃到了帶糖的餃子，這一年都會幸福甜蜜的。在不知不覺中新年到了，我們歡呼起來。

　　My favorite Spring Festival Gala has finally started, and my mother's meal is almost ready. WOW! It's finally the day! We'll start eating right away. I first sandwiched a cabbage dumpling, which was very delicious. Then my mother sandwiched a Seafood Dumpling for me. I shook my head: "Mom, I don't like the taste!" my mother asked me to eat it, but also said with a smile, "this dumpling is the sweetest!" I took a bite, and saw a piece of fruit sugar in my mouth. It's sweet and sour. It's delicious! If I eat the dumpling with sugar, I will be lucky this year Happy and sweet. Unconsciously, the new year arrived, and we cheered.

　　初一的一大早我就被鞭炮聲吵醒了。鞭炮四響，禮花沖天，大家的歡聲笑語增添了過年的氣氛，本是熱鬧的街道變得冷清，傳統(tǒng)的春節(jié)就這樣年復一年，一代人傳一代人的延續(xù)著……

　　經(jīng)過緊張的復習和準備，終于到了5月20日---參加全國小學生英語競賽決賽的日子。

　　早上八點四十分，我就來到了決賽的場地----四海小學，我找到位子坐下來后，發(fā)現(xiàn)周圍的同學都很嚴肅,我也不禁緊張起來。

　　我們華工附小五年級進決賽的有四位同學，分別是五（2）班的何皓霖、勞軒毅，五（3）班的彭承志和五（4）班的我。要知道，他們三個的英語可都是超厲害的呀！而且進入決賽后，競爭對手的實力都很強，我能如愿取得好成績嗎？

　　九點鐘，比賽開始了，教室里鴉雀無聲，只聽到同學們翻動試卷的聲音。我也投入到緊張的答題之中。一個小時后，比賽結束。

　　我覺得這次試題不能說很難，但是也不能說很簡單。聽力部分比較簡單，我最怕的智力題竟然也出意料地簡單，不過，很可惜，我還是由于粗心錯了一題，而且錯得非常烏龍：題目中有8張貓的'圖片，要我們找出兩張一樣的，我在把試卷交上去的一瞬間發(fā)現(xiàn)，我選的兩張圖片雖然看上去一模一樣，但是兩只貓卻是一只有胡子，一只沒有。唉！這一分丟得太不應該啦！傷心ing。

　　我覺得這次考試的語法和閱讀理解部分比初賽難，我自以為自己掌握的詞匯量比較多，但是仍然有幾個詞是我不懂的，這就使我對個別問題的回答不是很有把握。

　　這次考試的作文也不是我們特別熟悉的話題，題目是假設自己的爸爸是個警察，要介紹一下他的工作和生活。雖然我也寫了70多個單詞（題目要求是不低于60個單詞），但是覺得沒有以前寫作文那么有話說。以前競賽，我的作文經(jīng)常是寫到100字左右的。

　　考完試跟何皓霖討論，他覺得題目不難，真是超牛啊！他一定能得一等獎！

　　回來后，媽媽還發(fā)現(xiàn)我還犯了兩個粗心的錯誤，嗚嗚！媽媽說我的最大敵人是粗心！媽媽經(jīng)常教育我說，不會做的題目錯了，沒關系。不會，以后再學。但是會做的題目，由于粗心做錯了，就太可惜、太不應該了！但是，我卻每次考試都要犯粗心的錯誤。唉唉唉！

　　無論如何，緊張的考試已經(jīng)結束了，不去想它了！就等著出結果吧！老天保佑��！

　　我一定要努力改掉粗心的毛病！

　　I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

　　What’s more, self-help traveling can bring people a lot of fun. People can visit the site as long as they want, sometimes they can find the interesting things in the small place. While the tour guide will always take people to the commercial place. Self-help traveling is becoming more and more popular now.
